"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers" Acts 2:42

"And all that believed were together... did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart" Acts 2:44,46

This is evident from the beginning of the history of the church, that it is the Lord who gives the growth to His own Work; "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" Phi. 1:6. From the first local church at Jerusalem, the Work of the Holy Spirit of God is appreciated, filling believers with conviction and appreciation for the place where the Lord has placed His Name and for the zeal to persevere in obedience on the Word of God.

During the last three and a half years, we have been working at the east of Monterrey; preaching and teaching the new testament doctrine to those who through the grace of God, have known the salvation. We have seen their desire to learn, their steadfastness in meetings and willingness to serve the Lord with Joy, sharing with one another. This fills our lives with joy and humbles us understanding that "For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen" Romans 11:36.

In this sense we want to inform you the purpose of breaking the bread for the first time in this city next June 30th of this year. We have been praying for a long time and the Lord has given peace and the desire in everyone to obey him celebrating the Lord's Supper.

We ask you to pray for this new assembly and for the Work of the Lord on the metropolitan area of Monterrey.
